About the event

Needle Felting Workshop – Create Your Own Autumn Hoop Art

Join me at Studio Infinara for a relaxed and creative workshop exploring the wonderful, tactile craft of 2D needle felting. Using a special barbed needle, you will learn how to sculpt and build up layers of beautifully soft merino wool fibres onto a felt backing to create a stunning, textured autumn picture framed inside an embroidery hoop.

Choose Your Seasonal Design

To make your experience completely stress-free, I have designed four exclusive autumn templates. When you book your ticket, please choose which pattern you would like to tackle so I can have your template and instructions ready for you on the day. Alternatively, if you feel a bit more confident, you can select the option to map out and create your own custom design from scratch.

Our seasonal designs include:

  • The Spooky Pumpkin: A glowing, detailed jack-o'-lantern. (This can easily be adapted into a plain, classic harvest pumpkin if you prefer!)

  • The Woodland Mushrooms: A charming trio of iconic red-and-white spotted toadstools. (You can also choose to focus on just a single mushroom!)

  • The Forest Sunset: A moody, atmospheric silhouette of pine trees framed against a brilliant sunset sky.

  • The Cosy Fox: A beautiful, bright orange woodland fox curled up comfortably.

Please note: A brilliant variety of felt sheet backgrounds will be available on the day for you to choose from, so your background colour may differ slightly from the examples shown, making your finished piece completely unique! I will have a full buffet of premium merino wool colours available for you to use for the needle felting details.

As a local artist, I have been creating art my whole life and have more than a decade of teaching experience. I will guide you through the needle felting process step-by-step, ensuring you leave with a finished piece you are proud to display.

During the workshop you will:
